Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down and broke his crown.

And Jill came tumbling after.

I thought that Jack and Jill stood out the most just because they were the main part of my artwork. I made sure they seemed brighter than the rest of the artwork so that they were the main focus.

Vexel Project

Do you feel your vexel portrait is successful and why? I think my vexel is successful is some ways but there are still some things i would like to change. I think the computer didn't match my facial colors correctly so I look freakishly dark.. Oh well.

What was the hardest part of completing this project? It was really hard to try and get the colors to look as natural as possible using the color picker- I still don't like a lot of the colors.

If you could Vexel-ize anything else, what would you do? I think it would be really fun to vexel-ize a picture of nature or some type of scenery. Maybe a forrest or something!

1. Who did you transform yourself into? Why? I transformed myself into Britney Spears! Just because I thought it would be really funny and an interesting way to get used to using photoshop.
2. What was most challenging about this project? Why? Getting all of the skin tones and my face to look like the picture was really hard, so adjusting hue and saturation became a big thing in all of my editing.
3. What was simple about this project? Why? It was really easy to be creative with this project, and to have a lot of fun with all of the pictures and editing.
4. If you could choose one more photo to add to this transformation project, what would you add? I would add the picture that i editing of isaac and i into britney and justin haha

Transformation Brainstorm!

If you could transform yourself into another person, who would it be?  Would it be a person of a certain occupation?  A celebrity?  A family member? A fictional character? I'm going to try and transform myself into Britney Spears, because she has had a lot of different hairstyles and reasons for getting caught by the paperazi.

Why do you want to transform yourself into this person? Because she seems really funny and has a lot of personality! i also really loved her music when i was little.

What locations will you photograph yourself in? probably a picture somewhat like the one above, also on maybe a red carpet, walking around and inside my house.

What props will you need in order to complete this transformation? A background picture of a car, red carpet, and a barber shop!

What research will you need to do in order to photograph yourself as this person? Find as many memorable pictures of britney as possible!

Upload a photo of inspiration for your new character. Explain how you will create the mood and expression of that person in your photo series. I'll just make sure to try and make the same face she is making, then photoshop my head bald! Haha!
